What was reviewed

The localization pass reviewed user-facing language in context, including data-driven text that does not come from ordinary static labels.

Interface language

  • Menus, buttons, tabs, section headings, picker values, and context menus
  • Alerts, errors, warnings, empty states, progress, and completion messages
  • Tooltips, accessibility labels, prompts, and dynamic status text

Creative and media terminology

  • Preset, filter, effect, style, template, and mode display names
  • Descriptions and helper text that explain what an option actually does
  • Editing terms such as Mark In, Mark Out, Start, End, Duration, quality choices, and other non-universal terminology

Help and guidance

  • In-app Help content and troubleshooting guidance
  • Onboarding, licensing, privacy explanations, and user-facing legal text
  • Achievements and encouraging text localized for meaning and spirit, not word-for-word

Data-driven text

  • Enum display names, preset models, option arrays, and descriptions generated from app data
  • Text that appears only after a specific action, error, export, or processing state
  • Visible language that can be missed by a simple scan of Text or Button calls
Why I’m doing this

Using the app shouldn’t come with an English test.

If Royal Guitar Studio supports your language, I want it to actually feel that way. You should be able to open the app, understand what you’re looking at, and get on with what you came to do without stopping to translate a button or guess what an option means. Computers are complicated enough already. The language shouldn’t be another problem.

The localization pass is complete.

Royal Guitar Studio 2.0.5 now carries the completed six-language localization pass for English, German, Spanish, French, Japanese, and Simplified Chinese.
